There are several ways of communication; between the Schemes/ Area Co- ordinators Neighbourhood Policing Teams and Neighbourhood Liaison Officer / Crime Reduction Officer
The important thing to remember, information is the key to good Neighbourhood applications
This article to be read in- conjunction with the Co-ordinator Roles

Scheme members should report any instances or events to the respective Scheme Co- ordinator
On non-urgent instances, an observation alert may be sent from the Scheme Co- ordinator, the Area Co-ordinator notified at time or at the next meeting. In the absence of an Area Co- ordinator the Neighbourhood Policing Team is notified.
Regular meetings have to be held between the Scheme and Area Co- ordinators
The Area Co- ordinator should be in contact with the NPT team leader on at least a weekly basis, but should be able to contact the team at any time.
Contact should also be kept with the respective Neighbourhood Watch Liaison Officer / Crime Reduction Officer on a regular basis.
Area Co- ordinator should attempt to attend Wiltshire & Swindon Neighbourhood Watch Association, if unable either send deputy / Scheme Co- ordinator or contact the Association to have a question raised
There has to be a free exchange of information from all parties.
W&SNHW Association will keep all Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators informed by the Association website, newsletter, or e- mail, attending outside evemts and holding regular or extra meetings. Dates of the events and meetings are shown in the Diary page of the website
Most NPT`S issue a newsletter and or hold Surgery meetings. The frequency of these meetings is not laid down, but each month should be the minimum
