The Association relies on private sponsorship to cover the cost of specific activities ( AGM ) and events such as ( Quiz nights ), the running cost is covered by the profit made from such events.
At present we are very fortunate to have two sponsors Soft Options and TYCO ADT, both of whom have sponsored activities and events since 2005. Both companies are very keen to support the Association into the future.
Soft Options
A word from our sponsor:
Soft Options is a small, family run, business with over 30 years experience in water softening. Over the years Soft Options have sponsored many clubs and organisations in Ramsbury, where they are based, but in 2005 decided they would like to widen their community support efforts. After contacting the Neighbourhood
Watch organisation in Marlborough, a meeting was arranged with NHW Liaison Officer Barry Strange in Salisbury at which a proposal was discussed and agreed whereby Soft Options and their major supplier EcoWater Systems Ltd would support NHW across the County.
Sponsorship:
Soft Options sponsored the first issue of the Associations Newsletter. They paid for the production of 5,000 NHW wallets for use by the NHWLO`s and the Association. David Miller, the owner of the company, has also agreed that for each new water softener sold as a result of their W&SNHWA sponsorship, an extra £25 will be donated to the Association funds. This month they are sponsoring a new set of NHW Wallets.
Tyco ADT
A word from our sponsor:
Tyco ADT Fire and Security supports the Neighbourhood Watch scheme as crime reduction is a common aim of the two organisations and they know from their experience that
Neighbourhood Watch schemes are really effective. As well as sponsoring the W&SNHWA, ADT hopes to be able to inform and educate the community about the many benefits of having a monitored home protection system.
Sponsorship:
ADT sponsored the Association's inaugural AGM and paid for the majority of the prizes at the Association Quiz night in September 2006. They have asked the Association to join their affiliate Partner program, which could result in £50.00 to the Association for each customer referral. The sponsorship of our next AGM is a possibility.
