The Parish Trust was set up in 2002 to benefit the residents of the Parish of Urchfont ‘by promoting and giving financial support to community facilities, social events and recreational activities, the protection of the Parish environment and the maintenance and protection of the traditions, heritage, buildings and monuments of the parish.
The Trust is an independent body administered by nine trustees and receives income from various publications, including the two books about the Parish and the Urchfont calendars. The Trust is also happy to receive donations from individuals or organisations having the future good of the Parish at heart.
Grants may be awarded to groups within the Parish on application to the Trust (care of Urchfont Post Office, The Green, Urchfont, SN10 4QU): and assistance with accounting may also be given in the case of smaller or temporary groups not holding a bank account.
