ABOUT TINKERS BAG Tinkers Bag are a group of friends that have played music and sung together since 1997, In that the group has written and played 6 full length shows and performed at concerts and clubs throughout the county and at Festivals and clubs well beyond Wiltshire’s borders. Their shows have been “A Labourer's Year” , “A Seasonal Feast”, “A Wiltshire Wedding”, “Through a Wiltshire Vale” and “A Drop of Nelsons Blood” , “Songs of Old Wiltshire” and this, their latest for 2009, “Sing The Year Round” Between them, the group plays a vast array of instruments including, Melodeons, Concertinas, bouzouki, Mandola, Mandolin, Guitar, Whistles, flute, recorder, Appalachian Dulcimer, Drums and cymbals, kazoos, triangle, shaky egg and many others. (though not all at the same time!!) I n early 2007 the group changed to their current line up. Bob & Gill Berry, Nigel & Christine Owen, Mick Hiscock and Richard Rees will perform as Tinkers Bag with others joining them on special occasions and as the need arises.
