WILTSHIRE COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 1. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A360, POTTERNE) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2012 2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A360, POTTERNE, MARKET LAVINGTON AND WEST LAVINGTON) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2012 3. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A360, ORCHESTON, SHREWTON AND WINTERBOURNE STOKE) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2012 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: -

Order 1 To introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following length of road: A360, Potterne – from a point 72 metres south of its junction with Blounts Court to a point 515 metres south west of its junction with C253 Stroud Lane (to Potterne Wick)

Orders 2 & 3 To introduce a 50mph speed limit on the following lengths of road: A360– from a point 515 metres south west of its junction with C253 Stroud Lane (to Potterne Wick), Potterne to the entrance of the A’Becketts Vineyard, Littleton Pannell, West Lavington A360 – from a point 75 metres north west of its junction with C291, Orcheston to a point 21 metres east of its junction with B390 Chitterne Road, Shrewton A360, Shrewton and Winterbourne Stoke – from a point 36 metres south east of Meadway, Shrewton to a point approximately 1057 metres in an easterly direction

Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Devizes Library, Sheep Street, Devizes between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm Wednesday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 28th May 2012. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/council/troconsulta tions.htm Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the undersigned by 28th May 2012 quoting reference LJB/TRO/POTT.
