Potterne Parish Council

Any matter that you might wish to bring before the Council should be in writing, signed and dated. This avoids any misrepresentation of the petitioners business which is inevtable by word of mouth.

During a Parish Council meeting there is an 'Open Session', where the formal business of the Council is suspended for up to ten minutes to allow any members of the public to ask questions of the Parish Council. If there is any matter that needs discussion then it should be followed up in writing to the Clerk ready for the next Council meeting.
