Kennet Local Strategic Partnership

The Kennet Local Strategic Partnership was established in 2001 and its vision is "In the next 10 years to create an integrated, fair and thriving community blending a living and working countryside with the towns, villages and other communities of the district through accessibility to services, the participation of local people in decisions affecting their lives and the maintenance of a pleasant environment.

The following organisations are members of the partnership:- Kennet District Council, Wiltshire County Council, Devizes Community Planning Partnership, Marlborough Community Planning Partnership, Pewsey Area Community Planning Partnership, Tidworth Community Planning Partnership, Kennet & North Wilts Primary Care Trust, Wiltshire Police Constabulary, Wiltshire Police Authority, Kennet Community Safety Partnership, Wessex Chamber of Commerce - Kennet area, Learning & Skills Council, Voluntary Action Kennet, Wiltshire & Swindon Fire Authority, Army, Sarsen Housing Association, homes@kennet, English Nature (representing Environmental groups), Wiltshire Race Equality Council, North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
